ORDER PICKERS- NIGHTS
PRESTON
THE BEST CONNECTION ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR EXPERIENCED ORDER
PICKERS TO JOIN OUR CLIENT BASED IN LEYLAND, PRESTON.
The Best Connection are looking for reliable, hardworking and
experienced warehouse operatives to join a busy night-shift operation
in LEYLAND, PRESTON.
This role involves working in a FREEZER ENVIRONMENT WITH TEMPERATURES
BELOW 0°C, so candidates must be comfortable working in cold
conditions. There is also some lifting involved throughout the shift.
THE ROLE
As an Order Picker, your main responsibilities will include:
* Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Working in a freezer environment at temperatures BELOW 0°C
* Picking products and placing completed orders into cages
* Moving cages around the warehouse as required
* Carrying out some lifting throughout the shift
* Working to productivity and accuracy targets
* Ensuring orders are picked correctly and ready for dispatch
* Following warehouse health and safety procedures
* Working as part of a busy and hardworking night-shift team
SHIFT DETAILS
SHIFT: Order Picker Nights
HOURS: MIDNIGHT - 8:00AM
PAY RATE
* £16.51 PER HOUR - MIDNIGHT TO 6:00AM
* £12.90 PER HOUR - 6:00AM TO 8:00AM
REQUIREMENTS
PREVIOUS WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL for this position. Previous
order-picking experience would be highly desirable.
The successful candidate will need to:
* Have previous warehouse experience
* Be comfortable working in temperatures below 0°C
* Be physically fit and able to carry out some lifting
* Have good attention to detail
* Be reliable and punctual
* Be comfortable working night shifts
* Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Be able to work well as part of a team
