Connect Appointments is recruiting Parcel Sorters to join an established parcel distribution business based in Newbridge on a temporary ongoing basis.
Our client operates a busy parcel sorting facility, offering a choice of night shift or back shift across a 5-days-out-of-7 working pattern.
What's on offer?
* Ongoing temporary position - 35 hours per week
* Choice of two shifts:
* Night shift: 3am to 11:30am
* Back shift: 3pm to finish
* £12.71 per hour - paid weekly
* Full training provided
As a Parcel Sorter, your duties will include:
* Loading and unloading delivery vans accurately and efficiently
* Picking and transporting customer orders within the warehouse
* Ensuring all loaded and unloaded items match relevant paperwork
* Reporting any damaged or missing items to supervisors
* Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment
To be considered as a Parcel Sorter, you will need:
* Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
* Previous experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment is advantageous - full training provided
* Strong teamworking skills and the ability to work effectively under limited supervision
