Warehouse Order Picker

Job Summary: We are currently seeking an Order Picker to join our warehouse team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.

Duties:- The movement of stock within the warehouse- Perform quality control checks on items before packing- Load and unload goods from delivery lorries- Handle heavy lifting of materials- Maintain accurate stock records- Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks- Updating orders on our computer system.

Skills:- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred- Ability to handle heavy box lifting tasks safely- Knowledge of quality control procedures- Experience in materials handling and stock management- Proficient in picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes.

Other:- As part of a small team other tasks are required such as dealing with customers, cleaning, housekeeping etc. We are a busy company and need someone who can work quickly and accurately, following procedures to ensure our customers get the right product and that it's shipped on time.

Working days are Tue - Sat, 10am-6pm (10-5 on Sat) with occasional overtime.

Ideally we are looking for a full time member of staff on the above hours. We might consider a limited amount of flexibility for the right person if you have childcare requirements for example or if part time work suits you better. It may also be an option to work a Monday and have a different day off.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
