Location: Sheffield
Salary: £27,500 - £29,000
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
We are recruiting on behalf of our Sheffield based client for an experienced Warehouse / Dispatch Coordinator to join their team.
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working in a busy environment. You’ll play an important part in keeping warehouse, dispatch, transport and company vehicle operations running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
The Role
As Warehouse / Dispatch Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for coordinating stock, transport bookings and company vehicle requirements, while working closely with the Dispatch Team and wider business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor warehouse and dispatch stock levels.Carry out regular stock checks and investigate any discrepancies.Prepare end-of-month stock reports.Book and coordinate transport and collections.Liaise with transport companies regarding deliveries, collections and any issues.Maintain company vehicle records, including MOTs, servicing and repairs.Arrange vehicle servicing and MOTs, ensuring everything is completed on time.Liaise with garages and vehicle suppliers.Work closely with the Dispatch Team to coordinate daily requirements.Maintain accurate records relating to stock, transport and vehicles.Assist with resolving stock, dispatch and transport issues.Ensure warehouse and dispatch areas are organised and operated in line with company procedures.Provide support to other departments when required.About You
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in warehouse, stock control, dispatch or logistics who is confident managing multiple priorities and keeping accurate records.
You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, logistics or stock control environment.Strong organisational and communication skills.Excellent attention to detail.Good IT skills, including experience using Excel.The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.Experience arranging transport bookings and/or managing company vehicles would be an advantage.You’ll be:
