Responsibilities

Utilize transportation management systems to schedule, track, and document shipments efficiently
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods
Maintain accurate data entry for all transportation records, including shipment details and inventory movements
Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams via phone and written correspondence
Support analysis of logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Assist with the operation of SyteLine or AS400 systems to manage order processing and inventory updates
Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and receipts while adhering to company policies and safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience with transportation management systems (TMS) or logistics software platforms
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including shipping & receiving procedures
Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers and their coordination requirements
Proficiency in using AS400 or SyteLine enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for data management
Excellent analysis skills to interpret logistics data and generate actionable insights
Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette and clear written expression
Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail, typing speed, and organizational ability
