Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Roofers Labourer to support our roofing team in various construction projects. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation, installation, and maintenance of roofing systems, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Responsibilities

Assist with the setup and organisation of work sites, including handling materials and toolsSupport roofers with lifting and manoeuvring heavy materials and equipmentPrepare surfaces and areas for roofing installation or repairsUse hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively under supervisionFollow schematics and technical drawings to aid in installation processesAssist with fabrication and cutting of materials as requiredSupport with masonry, carpentry, plumbing, or welding tasks as needed on-siteMaintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulationsAid in the loading and unloading of materials from lorries or storage areasRequirements

Previous experience or knowledge of construction, roofing, or related trades is essentialAbility to perform heavy lifting safely and efficientlyFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniquesBasic understanding of schematics or technical drawings is desirableWillingness to learn welding, plumbing, masonry, or carpentry skills on-siteGood physical fitness with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditionsStrong team player with good communication skillsValid UK driving licence is essentialThis role provides a valuable entry point into the construction industry with opportunities for skill development across multiple trades.
