Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Operative to join our team. Working across the production area, as part of the team ensuring production targets are met on time, in full and inline with standards. All of this should be achieved whilst participating in a positive work culture centred around food safety, quality and health & safety.

This is on a shift basis Monday to Thursday early shift 5am to 2pm and back shift 2pm to 11pm on a rotational basis. A shift allowance is also paid in addition to the hourly rate.

Key Accountabilities:

Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the department, taking account of safe working practicesCarry out activities in the production area as directed by Line Leader, Team Leader or Production Manager as appropriatePacking and handling products, as directed and following correct procedures, in the most efficient manner and within process and product specificationsOperate in a competent manner using the full extent of equipment in the designated work areaMaintain production and technical records throughoutLiaise with Production Manager and Planning personnel to ensure that all schedule demands are met in a full, accurate and in a timely fashionCounting and recording stocks as required and in a manner that fulfils Company requirementsEnsuring that all paperwork and recording details are processed in a full, accurate and timely mannerActively promote and comply with Good Manufacturing Practice and the global standard for food safetyReport any potential problems to the Line Leader, Area Leader, Technical Team or any ManagerEnsure all company policies and procedures are adhered toAny other reasonable duties as directed by managementIdeally, the successful candidate would possess the following attributes: -

Previous experience and/or knowledge of food safetyExperience in a similar role within a food manufacture environmentJob Type: Full-time

Pay: From £23,793.00 per year
