Maintenance & Automation TechnicianLocation: SunderlandSalary: £38,977.31 to £54,568.23Estimated annual salary including shift allowance up to £54,568.23Continental Shifts: 06:30–18:30 / 18:30–06:30Permanent | Full-timeThe RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Maintenance & Automation Technician to support a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.You’ll be responsible for keeping automated production equipment running safely and efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and supporting continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic fault-findingMaintenance of automated manufacturing equipmentPLC, robotics & HMI supportPreventative and reactive maintenanceInstallation and optimisation of new equipmentRoot-cause analysis and continuous improvementWorking to LOTO, 5S and Safe Systems of WorkEssential ExperienceHNC in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related disciplineTime-served electrical apprenticeshipHands-on KUKA and/or ABB robotics experienceStrong Siemens TIA Portal experienceCertified PLC programming capabilityExperience with Atlas Copco/Ingersoll Rand toolingVision system experienceTo be considered for this position click “apply” and submit a copy of your up to date CV.GATEXPay: £38,977.31-£54,568.23 per yearWork Location: In person
