PrimeCarers is looking for experienced live-in carers for clients in Whitehaven and across Cumbria. As a live-in carer you stay in the client's home, supporting their routine through the day with proper breaks agreed up front. Because live-in carers travel from all over the country, where you live matters less than your experience. Right now, 29 live-in placements are currently open across the wider region.

Pay: carers on PrimeCarers are self-employed and set their own rates. For this kind of work, carers in the catchment around Whitehaven typically charge £145–£160 per day (hourly care locally runs at £15–£25 per hour, and live-in placements at £145–£160 per day). You keep control of your rate — we never set it for you.

How it works: PrimeCarers is an introductory platform, not an agency. We find you clients in Whitehaven and Cleator Moor, Orgill, Egremont, Workington, Cockermouth and Maryport, handle contracts, invoicing and payments, and insure you while you work — you choose your clients, your hours and your rate.
