Job Overview
SRK Scaffolding is looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our growing team in the Fawley Oil Refinery. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our yard and site operations by safely handling materials, loading and unloading deliveries, and ensuring equipment is moved efficiently and securely.


Duties



Operating a forklift safely and efficiently within the yard and work areas


Loading and unloading scaffolding materials and deliveries


Moving, stacking, and organising stock and equipment


Assisting with general yard duties when required


Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any issues


Following all health and safety procedures and company guidelines


Working closely with the scaffolding team to maintain smooth operations



Requirements



Valid forklift licence/certification (counterbalance preferred)


Previous forklift operating experience, ideally within a construction, scaffolding, or industrial environment


Good understanding of workplace health and safety


Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team


Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
