Salary: £29,473.60 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:30am - 6:00pm

The Role
As a Warehouse Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, supporting the movement of goods from receipt through to dispatch.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating mechanical handling equipment, including Counterbalance forklift trucksSafely unloading delivery vehicles while ensuring all goods are handled with careStorage of goods safely and efficiently in accurate warehouse locationsUsing handheld RF scanners to accurately book in inbound stock and maintain inventory accuracyIdentifying and reporting any shortages, damaged goods or stock discrepanciesCarrying out manual handling tasks safely and in line with company proceduresMaintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment in accordance with health and safety standardsWorking collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily productivity and service targets
About You
We're looking for reliable, motivated individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working as part of a busy team.
To be successful, you'll have:
Experience in operating a counterbalance forklift truckPrevious warehouse, logistics or distribution experience, or transferable skills from a similar environmentA strong work ethic with a reliable employment historyGood communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitudeExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyThe ability to undertake manual handling duties in a fast-paced environmentExperience operating warehouse equipment is advantageous, although training may be provided
