Job Description – Health Care Assistant

Location: Northcare Residences Stirling, Lower Bridge Street

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Full-time positions, working 7 shifts across a 14 day period. One weekend on, one weekend off.

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care and support to residentsAssisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobilitySupporting residents with meals and hydrationOffering companionship and emotional supportPromoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeingAssisting residents with daily activities and social engagementWorking closely with senior carers and healthcare professionalsMaintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately

A caring, respectful, and patient approachGood communication and teamwork skillsReliability and professionalismAbility to work in a fast-paced care environmentPrevious care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be providedWillingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays where requiredRight to work in the UK – please note Northcare is unable to sponsor employment of international workers
